Eleventh reason not to celebrate christmas

11. If you really want to show your love to someone, remember their birthdate and make them something.
Nothing in my opinion can show more love and dedication to someone other than taking the time to make something special for them.

You can do that for Christmas, too, you know.
People should just become more aware of the option of reusing gift bags and tissue paper, along with most other decorations. HOWEVER.
I think the plastic tree thing is actually the better idea. You say it pollutes the air, and yes, it take unnecessary energy to produce them, but it's a one-time deal. Instead of saying how much Christmas is terrible, you could try...giving solutions that are usable for those who still celebrate Christmas.
-shrug- Otherwise, people just go on their merry way altogether. :)

Birthdays comes once a year and so does Christmas, won't it be better for you to be able to give someone something just because it is some day, twice a year instead of just one?
Not everyone have the privilage to be able to just give people things out of the blue without a really good reason.
